Michael R. Gagnon (President /CEO)
Michael founded Smart Security Partners after working for some of the largest security solutions providers in the industry. Smart Security Partners is a (Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business SDVOSB), based in Massachusetts.
Mike has over 30 years of experience in the security and fire industry with in-depth knowledge across every phase of security including security assessments, system planning, design, installation, and service.
Michael’s experience also spans across many different types of businesses including Government, Education, Healthcare, Commercial Real Estate, Utilities, Manufacturing, and Transportation. As a security consultant, his focus has been on helping clients mitigate risk, meeting compliance, and controlling overall costs for their businesses.
Michael is certified as a Law Enforcement Security Assessment Specialist, School Security Specialist and in Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED) by the American Crime Prevention Institute. He is also board certified by the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) as a Physical Security Professional (PSP).
Michael is a United States Marine Corps veteran, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, and a Master’s Degree in Management
